Lindsay Tasher

Lindsay Tasher (a/k/a the “Wizard of Ahhhs”) is a musical theater Jersey girl turned lawyer, who quickly figured out how wild it is making up your own melodies alongside folks who are as much fun as they are talented. While performing with her first band, The Second Take, Lindsay focused primarily on backup vocals and keyboard. She is especially excited to explore her new role with Average of Three as a contributing lead vocalist and songwriter.

Lindsay received her crash course education in live music performances over the past few years alongside friends/colleagues from the insolvency community. This group, known as Bankrupt Talent, graciously included her and Steve in three charity rock benefits in NYC (two at Le Poisson Rouge and one at the Duplex), and showed her a level of energy, talent, and support that made her want to hit the rock stage as often as she can!

In 2019, Lindsay and Steve also spearheaded Rhythm & Hope, an annual charity rock benefit for Cancer Hope Network, an organization in New Jersey that provides free, one-on-one, confidential support to all people impacted by cancer.

In the off chance you can’t find her behind the mic / piano or at work, chances are you’ll find Lindsay hunched over an in-progress quilt, running the latest 5k (she really loves free tee shirts), or figuring out how to play the flute she bought a few years ago — because there is always time to make time for what (and who) you love!
